Eliminate the intense labor of daily livestock spraying, messy pour-ons, and backrubs. Sweetlix ClariFly Fly Control Pressed Block delivers highly effective, feed-through fly control alongside premium, balanced daily nutrition. Designed as a dual-purpose solution for both cattle and horses, this convenient 33.3 lb block satisfies their natural nutritional profiles while safely suppressing baseline pest populations in your pastures and stalls.

Powered by ClariFly® (Diflubenzuron), this advanced insect growth regulator passes completely through the animal's digestive tract and deposits directly into their fresh manure. It effectively stops the development of fly larvae right where they breed. It prevents the emergence of horn, face, stable, and house flies from the manure of treated cattle, as well as house and stable flies from treated horse manure.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Feed-Through Insect Growth Regulator: Breaks the fly lifecycle by preventing fly larvae from developing into biting, disease-carrying adults inside fresh manure.

  • Dual-Species Safe: Specially engineered to accommodate all classes of both beef cattle and horses safely in shared pasture environments.

  • Full Mineral & Vitamin Fortification: Fortified with NRC-recommended levels of core vitamins and essential minerals, completely eliminating the need to purchase separate pasture salt or mineral bags.

  • Weather-Resistant Pressed Design: High-density pressed block configuration stands up to harsh elements without crumbling or washing away, and it cannot be damaged by bulls or stallions.

  • Labor-Saving Efficiency: Requires no specialized bunks or covered feeders. Simply place the 33.3 lb block directly in pastures or pens to gain 24/7 automatic protection.

Pasture Management & Feeding Guidelines

  • Herd Ratio: Provide one 33.3 lb block for every 5 to 15 head of cattle or horses. Always put out at least two blocks per location to ensure less dominant animals maintain equal access.

  • Strategic Timing: Start feeding early in the spring before adult flies begin to emerge. Maintain continuous baseline feeding throughout the summer and fall until freezing winter weather halts seasonal fly activity.

  • Placement Strategy: Position blocks near natural livestock congregation points, including watering troughs, active grazing edges, and shaded loafing grounds. Maintain a 10-foot minimum distance between blocks to avoid crowding.

  • Forage Connection: Animals must have continuous access to fresh water and a plentiful supply of quality roughage or pasture at all times.

  • Note: This premium dual-species formula contains added copper necessary for cattle and horse health. DO NOT feed to sheep or any copper-sensitive livestock species, as it can cause copper toxicity. Do not allow starved or nutrient-deprived animals free-choice access without a controlled transition period.
