Sweetlix® Legacy ClariFly® Cattle Mineral pairs premium, breeder-built nutrition with proven fly control to protect herd productivity and comfort throughout fly season. Formulated by cattlemen for cattlemen, this self-fed mineral delivers highly bioavailable trace minerals and vitamins while utilizing ClariFly® Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) to stop horn, face, stable, and house flies from emerging in treated cattle manure.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Targeted 4-Fly Pest Control: Incorporates ClariFly® (diflubenzuron) to stop the life cycle of horn, face, stable, and house flies before they develop into breeding adults.

  • Enhanced Bioavailability: Built with Bioplex® organic trace minerals and high vitamin inclusions to support immune health, reproduction, and calf vigor.

  • RainBloc® Weather Resistance: Shields against rain and moisture to prevent caking, reduce bunk waste, and ensure maximum product availability.

  • Consistent Daily Intake: Highly palatable formulation naturally encourages uniform consumption across pastured cattle.

Feeding & Management Directions

  • Target Intake Rate: Feed free-choice at an average rate of 0.4 oz per 100 lbs of body weight daily (4 oz per day for a 1,000 lb animal).

  • Feeder Setup & Supply: Offer 50 lbs of product for every 15 head in covered mineral feeders placed near shade, loafing, and watering areas.

  • Timing: Start feeding in early spring before fly emergence and continue until the first cold freeze marks the end of fly season.

  • Managing Intake:

    • If intake is low: Increase the number of feeding locations or move feeders closer to high-traffic resting/watering areas.

    • If intake is high: Decrease the number of feeders or move them farther away from loafing areas.

  • Integrated Pest Management: Remove alternative self-limiting supplements. For established adult fly populations, pair initially with an adulticide treatment. Combine with clean pasture and barn sanitation practices to eliminate alternative breeding sites.

  • WARNING: This product contains added copper. DO NOT FEED TO SHEEP or any other species with a low tolerance for supplemental copper.
