Sweetlix CopperHead 6% Mineral (50 lbs. Bag)
Ensure your cattle maintain peak reproductive health, immune function, and weight gains with Sweetlix CopperHead 6% Mineral. Specifically engineered to combat severe copper deficiencies and balance out regional forage gaps, this premium, free-choice loose mineral supplement provides an economical solution for herds on summer pastures or standard hay rations.
Many cattle suffer from subclinical copper deficiencies caused by low soil levels or high mineral antagonists (like sulfur, iron, or molybdenum) which tie up necessary nutrients. Sweetlix CopperHead addresses this by delivering 1,800 ppm of highly bioavailable copper, pairing traditional sources with organic chelated trace minerals (including copper, zinc, manganese, and cobalt) for superior systemic absorption and metabolic efficiency. This complete formula features a moderate 6% Phosphorus level and advanced RainBloc technology, which forms a thin, pliable crust after rainfall to protect the product from hardening, caking, or washing away.
Key Features & Benefits:
Enhanced Copper Nutrition: Features 1,800 ppm copper alongside organic chelated trace minerals to counteract deficiency symptoms like rough, discolored coats, slow spring shed-out, and poor immune health.
Optimized 6% Phosphorus: Formulated with a balanced 6% Phosphorus foundation, making it highly economical and ideal for standard summer grazing or winter hay feeding programs.
RainBloc Weather Protection: Advanced moisture-resistant technology reduces product waste from humidity, dew, and downpours, keeping the loose mix palatable and loose underneath.
Boosts Reproduction & Immunity: Promotes improved breeding performance, higher conception rates, and stronger immune responses to parasitic and disease challenges.
Molasses-Enhanced Palatability: Utilizes signature Sweetlix molasses-based technology to drive consistent, targeted daily consumption across the entire herd.
Feeding and Management Directions:
Free-Choice Access: Provide one covered mineral feeder for every 20 to 30 head of cattle. Place feeders near clean water sources, shade, or high-traffic loafing areas where cattle congregate.
Expected Consumption: Mature beef cattle should naturally consume an average of 4 ounces per head daily.
Intake Management: Monitor consumption levels weekly. If the herd is over-consuming, move feeders further away from water; if under-consuming, position them closer.
Important Feeding Notes: Feed free-choice as the sole source of supplemental salt and minerals. Do not provide separate salt blocks or loose salt, as this will result in the under-consumption of the mineral mix. Always provide fresh, clean water at all times.
CAUTION: Use strictly as directed. Daily consumption of selenium must not exceed 3 mg per head.
WARNING: This product contains added copper and should not be fed to sheep or any other species with a low tolerance for supplemental copper.
